Tip Tuesday – Easy Travels with the Kids on Board!

I’ve written quite a bit about the items that are essential for a well packed toiletry kit and work hard to keep my own kit fully stocked and ready to go! (See What to Pack in a Cosmetic Travel Kit) But, recently, while on a trip with all three of my children, I realized that my packing could use a bit of tweaking! More specifically, I figured out that I really could use a second toiletry kit for those trips when the kids are along. The second kit could be filled with supplies that I wouldn’t necessarily need on vacation, but are necessities for the children! (and could be left at home when I’m traveling with my hubby or on my own!)

Kids on Board Bag

So my plan is to start a “kids on board” bag filled with

a toothbrush for each child
children’s fever reducer
band aids
Neosporin
sunscreen with a high SPF
hair ties
allergy medicine
hydrocortisone cream
and surely more to come!

My favorites at Little Jet Set include a cozy travel blanket and pillow set (pictured), so that you can pass on the airline versions and an amazing in flight organizer that fits over tray tables, keeping baby’s necessities clean and within reach!
