It is only a minor exaggeration to say that adding Digital Video Recording to our cable service has saved my life! The extra $11.95 each month for DVR has been well worth every penny! You may or may not be aware of DVR or its many benefits, but I want you to know that if you don’t have it, and you like TV and do not live alone, you should order this cable service ASAP!
DVR allows you to record programs without video tape or a VCR. The system is really easy to program and allows you to record programs on a weekly, daily or irregular basis. You can even save an entire season of a show! If you have DVR service, you can pause, rewind or watch in slow motion, ANY show! You can also record one program while watching another! The real joy of DVR is the flexibility it gives your family. I no longer have to be at home at 8:00 p.m on the dot so that my daughter can watch Gilmore Girls. I don’t have to shoo my kids out of the room so that I can watch Grey’s Anatomy in peace. The shows are recorded and can be watched at your leisure, in the middle of the day or the middle of the night! Also, you truly save time with DVR because you can fast forward through the commercials, cutting viewing time almost in half! Sport crazed husbands or sons will love this, too!
The cable website calls DVR “a whole new way of life,” and I don’t think they are mistaken!
