Thanksgiving Dinner Blessing!

With all of the duties that fall upon the host at Thanksgiving, it’s easy to forget about the blessing or prayer before dinner.  I found an informal, yet meaningful blessing in the most unlikely of places: the Pottery Barn catalog!  The words are simple and can be easily adapted to include any religious or personal thoughts unique to your family!

Thanksgiving Blessing

Give Thanks This Day

For family. For friends. For good food.                  

For stories that get better with age.

And for the time we have to gather around a table

with the people we love.
