When each of our four children got home from their first day in a new school system (we just moved to the Collegeville area from the state of Arizona), they were greeted with a special "back to school" gift for each one of them. For our high school girls I bought them a few school supplies and a few special pieces of makeup. The boys also received some school supplies. What a treat! Thanks for the idea. With my 5 year old starting K-5, I wanted to do something special to commemorate his first day! This will be a fun thing for me to create for him this weekend.
