Although the weather is wintry in my part of the world, it’s fun to look ahead to fashions of warm weather months of Spring! After a quick review of the upcoming trends, here’s my list of some of the most wearable new fashions!
Skirts
Skirts – especially if they’re knee length, flirty and floral!
Shades of Gray
Shades of Gray – ranging from soft gray to pewter, gray will be showing up in many clothing pieces! Plan to pair your new gray purchase with white, cream or black.
Oversized Collars
Oversized Collars – you’ll find these flattering, face framing collars on sweaters, coats and dresses!
Belts
Thin and thick belts, cinching the waists of any outfit! (be careful, though, if you’re short waisted!)
Candy Colors
Candy Colors – look for these fun colors in accessories, shoes, belts, headbands and more!
Shoes – look for lots of pink, exotic animal textures like croc and python, and jeweled thongs! My favorite predicted trend is a vinyl sandal, trimmed with rhinestones or other baubles! Take a look at these Stuart Weitzman sandals at Bluefly.com, $72.90.
Colors
Colors – you can find the Pantone 2008 Fashion Colors at sensationalcolor.com! I loved “cantaloupe,” “daiquiri green” and “silver grey!” Take a look at this site and see what colors inspire you for personal or home fashion this year!
