Shopping Happiness – Look What I Found!
Every so often a routine shopping trip turns up something truly special and fabulous! I had just that luck on Friday the 13th no less at a lovely store in my town, Blue Tulip! Blue Tulip is a beautiful store in Princeton, New Jersey, selling gifts for every occasion, printed stationery, gorgeous cards and gift wrap! While I was supposed to be looking for hostess gifts, I stumbled across the cutest pocketbook that I have seen in a long time and happily carried it home!
The pocketbook is made by Echo, a company more commonly known for their lovely scarves. The purse is in fact made of the same material as a silk scarf. Using vintage inspired fabrics and circular leather handles, the silk fabric is knotted onto the two handles with an elastic opening. The effect is the cutest hobo bag you’ve ever seen! The bag is also made in a larger version which has thin leather shoulder straps.
Both versions of this pocketbook, in a variety of chic vintage patterns, are sold at www.ebags.com. Blue Tulip has a website, www.bluetulip.biz, which displays many of their terrific products, but internet sales are not up and running just yet. Later this year, shoppers everywhere will be able to purchase Blue Tulip’s one-of-a-kind items, but for now, phone orders can be taken for items featured on their website.
