Here are two great party recipes that are a sure hit with little ones to teens. Both easy to do ahead. For older children, serve with a salad and garlic bread.
Baked Ziti
Ingredients:
- 1 Pound Dry Ziti Pasta
- 2 (26 ounce) Jars Spagetti Sauce
- 6 ounces Provolone Cheese Slices
- 1 1/2c. Sour Cream
- 6 ounces Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Parmesean Cheese
Directions:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, drain.
- Preheat oven to 350 degress F (175 degrees C). Butter a 9 x 13 inch baking dish.
- Layer ingredients in the pan as follows: 1/2 of the ziti, provolone cheese, sour cream and 1/2 of the sauce. Remaining ziti, mozzarella cheese and remaining sauce. Top with parmesean cheese.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
Chocolate Bundt Cake

Ingredients:
- 1 Package Chocolate Devil’s Food Cake Mix
- 1 Small Package Instant Chocolate Pudding
- 2 Eggs
- 1 3/4 Cups Milk
- 1/2 Cup Vegetable Oil
- 12 ounces Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1/4 Cup Confectioners Sugar
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Combine first 6 ingredients and blend well.
- Blend in chocolate chips.
- Grease and flour a bundt baking pan.
- Fill pan with cake batter.
- Bake for 1 hour or until pick comes out clean.
- Take cake out of pan and place on a cake plate.
- Sprinkle with Confectioners Sugar
