A spa day is a fabulous treat and it seems impossible that the experience could be improved! But,
Spa Finder, a terrific website that not only locates spas, but also lists special offers and sells gift certificates that can be used at over 5,000 spas, has compiled a full trend report!
Some of the highlights to look for in the months and years ahead include predictable trends such as those which incorporate cautious spending of the consumer’s dollar and “green,” eco conscious improvements delivered in a subtle fashion.
More surprising are two trends that sound a bit out there: brain gyms and learning labs! Brain gyms promise mental fitness and learning labs offer instruction to reduce stress and replicate the spa experience at home with breathing and meditation techniques. Lastly, plan to see spas popping up everywhere, from casinos to planes to trains to airports!
