2008 New Year’s Resolutions!
On the whole, I am innately opposed to New Year’s resolutions. I find that resolutions inevitably lead to feelings of guilt and disappointment when they remain unfulfilled during the months ahead! So, why make them in the first place? But, as with so many things since the inception of Busy Bee, I am prepared to set aside my fear of failure and go ahead and share my resolutions, such as they are, with Busy Bee readers! Perhaps my world wide sharing will actually spur me into action in 2008! So here goes:
- Get myself on TV with a segment that promotes the ideas and creativity of Busy Bee Lifestyle!
- This one’s really unique (ha,ha), but totally necessitated by Resolution #1: lose 10 pounds!
- Floss teeth daily. (This one may also be necessitated by Resolution #1.)
- Investigate the possibility of bringing the Westin Hotel “Heavenly Bed” right into my own bedroom! I have fallen in love with the beds and linens at the Westin Hotel where my family stays when visiting my sister in Annapolis, Maryland!
- Celebrate my birthday in February at the restaurant Vetri in Philadelphia, where it’s impossible to get a reservation!
- Find more time for date nights with my husband and more play dates for my children!
I think that’s it for now, but the fact that this list could have gone on for pages worries me a bit! For a non-resolution maker, even listing six to do’s is somewhat intimidating!
Please share your New Year’s resolutions with me along with your progress over the coming months and I will do the same! Cheers for the best of new years!
