Summer (happily!) will be here before we know it and so now is the time to think about the activities that will fill your summer days and what you can do today to make those days more organized.
Choosing Your Summer Tote Bags
One easy way to get organized is to review your “bag” situation! For example, my kids and I spend the summer days at our local pool. To make my life easier, I purchased two canvas tote bags from Lands End.
Monogramming with “Towels” and “Lotion”
- The first bag was the largest open tote offered and I had it monogrammed with “Towels!”
- The second bag was the smallest tote sold with a zipper closure and was monogrammed with “Sun Screen!”
Packing Your Tote Bag
Packing each day is a breeze! Beach towels in the “Towel” bag and lotion in the other! In the smaller bag, I also store goggles, cell phone, lip balm, tissues, sunglasses, keys and anything else that would fall to the bottom of the bigger bag! Even my children are able to figure this out!
More Ideas for Monogramming
Is baseball your summer thing? Beaching it? Tennis? Summer camps? Use my idea to separate and label bags accordingly. You could also consider designating one bag for each child.
