Fun Food Inspired Gifts for Kids!
Right along with my love of cupcakes, is my love of faux foods! I have a terrific collection of cakes, pies and petit fours that always look perfect and carry no calories! This season, I found lots of fun food themed toys to place under a Christmas tree or enhance a birthday celebration!
Stir Fry Set
This pretend play toy offers kids a “sizzling” wok, along with chopsticks, rice bowls, and eggs that actually crack open. Bok Choy, soy sauce and rice patties complete the picture! (*Stir Fry Set, Ages 3 and up)
Giant Sandwich Stacking Game
Using “bread slice” gloves outfitted with Velcro, players scramble to pick up cheese, pickles and other sandwich fillers in the proper order! (*Giant Sandwich Stacking Game, Ages 4 and up)
Café Barista
We tote our children to coffee counters on a regular basis and this cute toy allows kids to be their own baristas! Real life sounds including grinding coffee beans and frothing milk are perfect with the coffee cups and pastry treats! (*Cafe Barista Playset, Ages 2 and up)
Two Tier Treat Tray
Tea party guests will love this delicious pastry tray! The set includes three cupcakes, three chocolate cookies, two vanilla cookies, two cake rolls, two slices of cake and three wafers. Crafted from sustainably sourced wood, this toy will last for ages! (*Two Tier Treat Tray, ages 3 and up)
Felt Food
If you can’t get real fruits or vegetables into your child’s diet, at least add their recommended daily allowances into play time! The Land of Nod offers 100% wool felt fruit and vegetables for creative play! (*Pretend Felt Vegetables; *Pretend Felt Fruit
(pictured), Ages 2 and up)
I hope that you find these “food” finds to be as much fun as I did! Bon Appétit!
*It’s serendipity when the products we love are from the sponsors we love!
