Fun Flip Flops for Summer

Fun Flip Flops!

Flip flops are sold and worn just about everywhere, so it is a challenge to offer Busy Bee readers some special examples!  But, a few styles are definite standouts this summer – each for a different reason! Take a look at:

Miss Trish of Capri

Straight from Palm Beach, these fun flip flops sport patterned soles and coordinating “jeweled” rhinestone embellishments!  Super summery choices include a lobster, butterfly, sea shell and caterpillar.  Miss Trish Sandals, $55.

Vineyard Vines

This preppy retailer has several terrific flip flop options this summer!  ”Trinket” flip flops feature their signature whale print on the sole and a molded, metal whale trinket on the strap!
Another fun choice is the printed flip flop with a patchwork sole, with your choice of navy or pink straps. Retail for $35.

Jelly Sandals

I loved these sandals in the early 80′s and I love them still!  Colorful, plastic jelly sandals are so summery and yet so practical (wash and wear)!  Here are some terrific options:

Tory Burch

This is the perfect sandal to add a designer touch to your summer wardrobe without breaking the bank!  A traditional rubber flip flop is the recipient of Tory Burch’s unique flair, with a patterned sole and signature gold ornament.  Choices include a fun cheetah print or red and white hearts! Ocean Minded

These flip flops are made from natural and recycled materials with soft foam foot beds and purchases support a great cause, the Surfrider Foundation which works to protect the world’s oceans and beaches.  The cute Kiya is available in navy, green, brown, black and yellow.

I Used to Be a Rice Bag

Colorful, repurposed rice bags form the straps of these fun and eco-friendly flip flops from BC Footwear!  Retail for $30.

Switchflops!

Fabulous for traveling, these clever flip flops feature a standard black or brown rubber base in 2 heel heights with an endless number of interchangeable ribbon straps.  The straps attach to the sandal with Velcro and each features a cute button trim!  Choose ribbon straps to match every outfit or acknowledge your collegiate colors!
