Fashion Ideas for Women over 40

Busy Bee is always on the look-out for new and updated shopping opportunities.  Here’s a few spots that might provide something fun for Spring!

• Forth & Towne – a new GAP company targeting the over 40 client.
• Boden  - this is a UK based company so you won’t see yourself coming and going!  Shop their website or catalog.
• Anthropologie
• Nordstrom – sign up for their mailing list for e-mails on what’s new.  Carries a wide selection of designer brand jeans with some petites.  Check out their “Not Your Daughter’s Jeans!”  These pants are designed with us in mind!  The back is higher than the front, there’s some tummy control and bum lifting too!

If the holiday season has left your wallet wanting, take a new look at these old standards!  Each one of these large chain stores has picked up lines by great designers with non-designer prices:

• Target:  Isaac Mizrahi
• JC Penney:  Nicole Miller
• Walmart:  George
• Kohl’s:  Nine and Co.
• Sears:  Rena Rowen and Apostrophe

If you’re like other over 40 busy bees, there may be a limited number of brands which actually fit when it comes to pants!  Don’t worry if your basics are from traditional stores like Talbots, Ann Taylor, or Liz Claiborne.  Go ahead and get the pants that fit!  Follow a Spring trend with shoes, a bag or top!
