Create Fun Fall Table Top Décor!
At a recent Busy Bee Lifestyle appearance at the Elizabeth b. Fall Jewelry Trunk show, I was able to demonstrate a few unique decorating ideas! In addition to filling seasonal decorative urns with candy corn and Halloween candles, I also had a lot of fun enhancing the common pumpkin!
Painted Pumpkins
I painted one pumpkin silver and another, glossy black, using readily available spray paint! For the third pumpkin, I turned to Martha Stewart’s Glittering Set which includes three shades of very fine orange glitter and glittering glue. ($14.99 at Michael’s) All three pumpkins were trimmed with cute and coordinating ribbons and displayed on a variety of raised bases.
Pumpkin Topiaries
My last idea involved two sets of three styrofoam pumpkins that I picked up at the Dollar Store. I found three sizes of green and three sizes of white faux pumpkins, cut off the stems of the two largest and stacked them to create two attractive topiaries with white glue and silk fall leaves! My partner and I had a wonderful time meeting new women and spreading the word about Busy Bee! For more details, take a look at Welcome New Busy Bee Readers!
