Host a Hannah Montana Birthday Party!

There’s not a parent of a girl between the ages of 6 and 12 who isn’t aware of the Hannah Montana craze, and if a Hannah themed birthday party is what she’s wishing for, this is the article for you! One of the things that makes this show unique is the double life that Miley/Hannah leads – regular school girl by day and rock star by night. And that’s where I found some inspiration for this party plan!

Invitations

Get Crafty

Introduce the double personality aspect right from the start! Use plain manila envelopes, marked with the words, “Shhhh – it’s a secret!” – to disguise a really jazzy invitation made from sparkling paper, with glittery confetti tossed in.

Fine Stationery

For an easier option, choose a colorful pop star invitation with a groovy, vintage vibe! In shades of pink and purple with electric guitar and microphone details, this invitation is an easy and quick alternative!

Party Set Up

Prepare a “Double Setting”

This party plan will require a bit of extra effort on the party planner’s end, but I the think the effect is worth it! My idea calls for “double setting” the table – one for Miley and one for Hannah!

On your party table, go ahead and cover it in glamorous Hannah style, using a glitzy or metallic table cloth.
Then cover the rock star look with a simple, homey table cloth and set the table using your every day dinner dishes.
Serve a first course, like salad or pasta, at the Miley table and then have the girls head outdoors or to another part of the house for a craft or game.
While the girls are out of sight, whisk away the plain dishes and table cloth to reveal the “Hannah” side.
Reset the table with festive Hannah paper goods, bringing in balloons and cake that you’ve been stashing out of sight.
At each place setting, add beads, bangles, blow up microphones and Hannah wigs! Plan that these fun items will serve as fabulous party favors!

Party Activities

The girls will definitely enjoy singing along to Hannah Montana CD’s while dressed in Hannah-style accessories, and you’ll have a photo op in the making! For even more fun posing, consider ordering a life size Hannah cardboard cut out! (Cardboard Cut Out, $39.99) Other fun party activities could include:
