Look What I Found – Zippy, Strippy Quilts!
Just the word, “quilting” gives me scary thoughts of too many tiny pieces of fabric, threading tiny needles and a project I’ll never finish! Well, it’s now possible to forget about those time consuming and expertise requiring notions thanks to the Zippy, Strippy Quilt!
Creator Jenny Matlock promises a quilt of lasting beauty and coziness in less than six hours! Her book, “Zippy, Strippy Quilts” will guide even the least experienced seamstress through the steps of selecting fabrics, stripping the fabric (a process that is described by other crafters as relaxing and fun!) measuring, sewing and washing. All you need is a sewing machine and the basic ability to use it! Her website offers preselected collections of flannel or corduroy fabrics designed to make the process even simpler! And as one reviewer wrote, “the only way you could fail this project is if someone took the book away from you!”
Consider giving this project a try one cold and snowy day during the coming fall and winter months! You will be rewarded with a one of a kind keepsake that will last forever! (see zippystrippyquilts.com for the book and fabric kits)
Enter Busy Bee’s current Contest and win a Free Zippy, Strippy Quilts Book! Contest ends October 1.

Just learned about it and thought I would pass it on to you all…..love your website
You really had me with the six hour quilt until the part about the sewing machine. I never got past the “threading the bobbin” lesson. The quilts look great though and how nice would it be to give a homemade quilt as a gift.
I wanted to comment and thank the author, good stuff
