Look What I Found – Lemax Display Bases for Lighted Houses!
Do you set up a collection of lighted porcelain houses at Christmas time, like those sold by Dept. 56 and others? If so, you might share my frustration with arranging them in an easy, yet decorative way. In the past, I’ve stacked books at different heights on my book shelves and then attempted to drape the books with sheets of faux snow that looked a lot like batting. Then I spent hours balancing the houses on top!
Last December, I found a fabulous solution to this problem – hard styrofoam bases made by Lemax that look like snow but are stackable, easily creating different height levels, and can be trimmed with scissors to fit your shelves. The look is much neater and the houses will sit evenly! Even the cost is terrific! Take a look at this problem solver and see what you think! (Santa’s Display Platform, LEM34983, 3 pieces for $10.
I hope this tip improves your lighted house display this year! Pick up more than you think you need – I had to reorder!
