At our house on christmas eve, a red bag is found in the yard or on the porch and it has Pajama's and a treat and maybe a christmas book or movie. It lands here with an exciting note that tells the kids that "As I was on my way to (enter country) I dropped this in yur yard so you can be ready for bed so I can visit!"

My family started this tradition several years ago - every Christmas eve we all gather (45 of us) we eat and then groups pair off and we have a gingerbread decorating contest. It has gotten very elaborate in the years past. I construct all the houses out of card board so no one knows what kind of house they will decorate. Everyone brings candy everything they decorate with must be edible. Imaginations my goodness the imaginations. This is something young and old will enjoy...
