Irish Manhattan

Irish Manhattan
Fill a low ball glass with ice.  Add ¼ cup Irish whiskey and 1 ½ T. sweet vermouth; stir.  Garnish with a maraschino cherry. Makes 1.
Note: if you’d like to enjoy this drink on the “drier” side, make the vermouth portion half sweet and half dry!

Pumpkin Pie Martini

Pumpkin Pie Martini
Ingredients:

2 parts Absolut Vanila vodka
1 part pumpkin schnapps
splash of cream
sprinkle with nutmeg

Directions:

Shake all of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice
Strain into a martini glass
Garnish with nutmeg and a cherry

Thanksgiving Cocktail Recipe

Thanksgiving Cocktail
Ingredients:

1 tsp lime juice
1 1/2 oz bourbon
4 oz cranberry juice
1/2 oz apple brandy

Directions:

Fill Collins glass one-half full of ice, add ingredients and stir.   Garnish with a lime wedge, if desired.

Spiked Apple Cider

Spiked Apple Cider
Ingredients:

2 quarts apple cider
1 cup apple brandy
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
2 teaspoons ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground cardamom
1 teaspoon curry powder

Directions:

In a large pot, combine all the ingredients over high heat and bring to a simmer.
Lower the heat and keep warm.

Vampire’s Kiss Cocktail Recipe

Vampire’s Kiss
Serves 25
Ingredients:

10 c. ice cold apple vodka
5 c. chilled cranberry juice
2/3 c. orange liqueur
3/4 c. fresh lime juice

Directions:

Combine all ingredients in a large punch bowl and add ice.
Once cold, ladle into chilled martini glasses.

Orange Satin Cosmo Cocktail Recipe

Orange Satin Cosmo
Serves 25
Ingredients

8 c. vodka
2 ½ c. mango juice
2 ½ c. Cointreau or triple sec
1 ¼ c. fresh lime juice
7 T. superfine sugar

Directions:

Stir all ingredients together in a large, ice filled pitcher.
Mix well and strain into chilled martini glasses.

Mint Juleps

Jack’s Mint Juleps!
Many thanks to my dear friend Elizabeth, for sharing her dad’s famous Mint Julep recipe! This recipe is great for large gatherings, because it does not require individual “muddling” of mint leaves for every cocktail!
Ingredients

2 bunches of mint (at least 20 stems)
Water
Sugar
Crushed ice (not shaved or cubed!)
Bourbon (Jack Daniels is recommended)

Bellini Bar

Ingredients

2 10-ounce packages frozen raspberries in syrup, thawed
1 12-ounce can frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
Fresh raspberries
Lemon slices
3 750-ml bottles chilled Prosecco

Directions

Puree raspberries in blender or processor until smooth
Strain into 2-cup pitcher, discarding seeds
Pour thawed lemonade concentrate into another 2-cup pitcher (Raspberry puree and lemonade concentrate can be prepared 1 day ahead.  Cover and refrigerate.)

Liquid Legend Recipe

As suggested in InStyle magazine.  Serves 10. 

1 1/2c. Bacardi Coco rum
1 1/2c. pineapple juice
3/4c. brandy
1/2c. sweetened coconut cream
2 tsp. almond extract

Combine all ingredients and chill.  Serve in ice filled glasses and garnish with pineapples and cherries.
