Baked Brie

Ingredients:

2 T. brown sugar
2 T. pecan halves, roughly chopped
1 sheet pastry puff
1 3 1/2″ wheel of Brie, about 8 to 10 ounces
1 egg, lightly beaten

Marinated Tomatoes and Olives

2 c. assorted imported olives
2 pints cherry tomatoes
3 T. olive oil
2 cloves garlic, crushed
2 T. white balsamic vinegar
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl.  Toss.  Marinate for 1 hour at room temperature.

Parmesan Garlic Dip Recipe

1 8 oz. container sour cream
1/4 c. mayonnaise
1/4 c. parmesan cheese
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
white pepper to taste

Blend all ingredients and serve with crackers and fresh vegetables.

Easy Strawberry Appetizer

Easy Strawberry Appetizer  

Rinse and hull two pints of strawberries.
Fill a small serving bowl almost full with sour cream.
Top off the sour cream with a thick layer of brown sugar

Serve the strawberries on a large platter with the sour cream bowl in the middle.

Classic Dip – Two Ways

1 c. chopped vidalia onions
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. shredded cheddar cheese

Or

1 can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped coarsley
1 c. mayonnaise
1 c. shredded parmesan cheese

For either recipe, blend all ingredients and pour into a glass or ceramic baking dish.  Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.  Serve with bagel chips or crackers.
