Tip of the Week – Can This Be the 100th Tip?
When it was first decided that Busy Bee Lifestyle would email a “Tip of the Week,” as the author, I thought that it was a terrific idea, but I was worried! How could I come up with a good idea each week? Would the readers enjoy the tips? And yet somehow, each week a great idea came my way and then onto our readers for the past 100 weeks!

Looking back over the past 100 tips, it was remarkably entertaining to see how diverse the topics and suggestions were that made their way into the “Tip of the Week,” and some clear favorites emerged!
My personal favorite was the tip about Art-o-Mats, while my business partner loved the German tradition of Schultuete, which celebrates the first day of school.
Based upon our readers’ comments, both online and in person, here are eight the most favored tips:
- Savoring Vacation Memories – for remembering a vacation with a framed bedside photo.
- Lots of Helping Hands – for helping a friend in need.
- Glass Refrigerator Boxes – for storing leftovers the old fashioned way.
- Laundry Baskets – for utilizing your laundry baskets for much more than just the weekly wash.
- Tying Tablecloths with Ribbons – for adjusting the size of tablecloths to suit your table.
- Tailgating – for encouraging fun, fall style.
- The Priceless Lovie – for ways to replace a lost comfort item that your child can’t live without.
- Repurposing an Old Vase – for turning a décor staple into a decorative organizer.
I hope that you didn’t mind my trip down memory lane, and without any further reminiscing, here’s the 100th Tip of the Week, Read For Pleasure – No Excuses!
