Tip of the Week - Add Some Romance to Any Special Occasion!

Although February 14^th has come and gone, a few special Valentine ideas caught my fancy this year. I couldn’t wait to share them with Busy Bee readers, because these ideas can be used to add a touch of whimsy or romance to other special occasions throughout the year!

Hiding Paper Hearts!

I loved the story about a woman who hid 50 red paper hearts in places where her husband would find them throughout the day on Valentine’s Day! He happily reported that he continued to find hearts for weeks! Try this for your anniversary or spouse’s birthday!

Setting a Romantic Tone

At a beautiful cocktail party I attended, guests were greeted by front steps lined on the sides with hundreds of rose petals! It was the perfect way to set a romantic mood! At the same gathering, cocktail shrimp were served in the shape of a heart by placing two shrimp together on a skewer! Consider these ideas whenever a romantic setting is called for!

Create a Unique Floral Centerpiece

Two kind and creative women invited the Busy Bee Lifestyle partners to give an informal chat to a group of their friends! The gathering was great fun and we were most excited by the hand crafted centerpieces gracing the dining room table! Using three square blocks of floral oasis, our friends tightly covered all sides with tiny white carnations and then trimmed the cubes with pretty ribbon, creating an adorable set of three floral presents! This idea can easily be translated to any celebration by simply changing the colors of the ribbon trims!
